Homeopath

Ameet offers classical homeopathic consultation. Classical homeopathy was developed by Samuel Hahnemann over 200 years ago, and is practiced around the world in dozens of countries. His approach is to meet with both the child and the parent to develop a holistic sense of the child’s temperament, physical constitution and chronic health patterns. By matching this portrait to the profiles of various homeopathic remedies, he is able to suggest ones that will best support a return to good health.
Homeopathy’s goal is to help strengthen the constitution and thereby raise the general level of health of the patient, and not to treat any particular disease or illness. However, by supporting the body’s own wisdom, homeopathy has helped children and adults struggling with chronic health issues, repeated infections, and emotional and behavioral difficulties.
Ameet has been practicing homeopathy for four years. He has also practiced as a clinical psychologist since 1999 (earning his doctorate from Temple University), with strong interests in positive parenting, mindfulness meditation and the stress-illness connection.
He lives in Mt. Airy with his wife and two very active boys.
Ameet can be reached at 267-357-6962 , or by email via his web page, www.ravitalhome.com.

Ula Katsoulis LMT CST is a licensed massage therapist specializing in CranioSacral Therapy and Visceral Manipulation. She studied massage therapy at the Swedish Institute in New York City, where she studied massage therapy, anatomy, apthology and neurology. She received her new York State licensure in massage Therapy in 2002. Craniosacral Therapy is a light, non - invasive touch therapy that helps the body self -correct its restrictions via the Central Nervous System: it releases tensions deep within the body to relieve pain and dysfunction, and creates optimum health and performance. It is a safe effective therapy suitable for infants to elders. Visceral Manipulation is a gentle form of manual therapy that focuses on the harmonious relationships between the motions of the organs and the structures of the body, having a balancing effect , so that the organs can move freely without getting abnormally stuck in the musculoskeletal system, creating tension, irritation and inflammation. It is a safe, effective therapy suitable for infants to elders. Children respond very well to both of these modalities, as their nervous systems are developing, and they are able to assimilate the new input from the sessions easily, setting the stage for optimal wellbeing and growth as individuals. Ula employs these two cutting edge modalities with outstanding clincal results , and is a true believer in the body's ability to cure itself . To obtain more information visit : www.phillypainrelief.com , email: ula@phillypainrelief.com or call Ula at (646) 645-5207 for a phone consultation . She is available for sessions at Fairmount Pediatrics Monday and Tuesday mornings. |
